This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). It applies to gcwebdesignplus.com and to any dealings you have with us.

If you contact us by phone, email, text or social media we keep a record of that communication.
You can deal with us anonymously or using a pseudonym where that is practical, but we will usually need your name and contact details to quote, book or provide a service.
2. Why we collect it

- To meet our legal, tax and insurance obligations and to protect our rights
3. How we collect it

4. Cookies, analytics and advertising
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are needed for the site to work; others help us understand how the site is used and show relevant ads. We may use:
- Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to measure website traffic and how visitors use the site.
- Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing, to measure ad results and show our ads to people who have visited our site, on Google and partner websites.
- Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) conversion tracking and remarketing, to measure ad results and show our ads to people who have visited our site.
These providers may set their own cookies, collect information about your visit (such as pages viewed and actions taken) and combine it with other information they hold, under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information.

Overseas disclosure: some of these providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where their servers are located. We take reasonable steps to make sure they handle your information consistently with the APPs.
6. Marketing
We will only send you marketing messages where permitted by the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and the Privacy Act. Every marketing email or text includes a way to unsubscribe, or you can contact us to opt out at any time.
7. Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, including secure (HTTPS) website forms, access-controlled accounts and reputable service providers. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law (for example tax records), then securely delete or de-identify it.
8. Access and correction
You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time (usually 30 days). If we refuse a request, we will tell you why and how to complain.
